DIY Lunches at the Tutka Bay Lodge in Alaska

Tutka Bay Lodge, situated on an eleven-acre property at the head of the rugged seven-mile fjord of Kachemak Bay, was recently featured in Forbes Magazine as one of the 7 best luxury hotels with extraordinary cooking schools. Chef-Owner, Kristen Dixon, leads the school in the property’s historic crabbing boat, the Widgeon. During the class, guests will walk through the Lodge’s nature trail in the Sitka Spruce forest to forage for fresh vegetables, and then return to the Lodge for a customized cooking tutorial and to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
